We had a wonderful lunch of Carne Asada, potato salad, strawberry salad, fresh grilled corn, grilled veggies, fresh fruit, and chips and salsa. Everything turned out really well...I think it is the best we have eaten on the 4th for quite some time since we usually have to drag everything down to the beach.

Doug took Tyler on a little ride down the board walk on his long board. They were having a great time until some guy bumped them with a bike and sent them flying. Luckily, Doug was able to think fast and hug Tyler tight to avoid hurting him badly. However, Doug took a brunt of the fall on his face and ended up with some good road rash cuts on his cheek. Tyler walked away unscathed so Daddy did his job. :)

Mike and Susie were more tired than the boys on the way home. They fell asleep quickly and the boys were both still going strong. :)
