Kelly and Julio...
My little sister, Kelly and her husband, Julio came this last weekend to go to the temple and stay for a few days for a visit. Doug and I met them up in LA on Friday night so we could take them to Comedy Sportz (a very fun improv group...a lot like "Who's Line Is It Anyway"). Doug and I have been multiple times and always have a good time. Unfortunately, this time most of the audience was the Gilbert High School Drama Club (From Arizona). Yikes! Is all I have to say. It was still a lot of fun though.
Saturday we just relaxed, went swimming, rode motorcycles, went to eat, made homemade ice cream, and played games.

Our Little Fish...
Ryan has always loved the water and swimming, but it was hard to tell if Tyler would follow suit. Last summer Tyler was barely a year old and mildly interested in getting wet. This year already he is a little fish. In fact, the somewhat scary part is he will just take off swimming and not care if anyone is even there to catch him. Ahhh! A little nerve racking, but I am happy that he is so comfortable in the water.
Tyler with some dive sticks. One of my favorite parts is when he swims out to the middle of the spa and just hangs out and blows bubbles.
Tyler getting ready to swim to Daddy. If you look closely, you can see Ryan down at the bottom of the spa picking up dive sticks and rings.
My swimming boys! I am glad that they have as much fun in the water as Doug and I do.

I'm So Glad When Daddy Comes Home...
We love our Daddy a lot around our house. It is the highlight of our day when we hear the garage door open and know that he is home. The boys usually can't wait for him to come inside and run to meet him. One day last week he surprised us and came home for a little while during lunch time. He was home long enough to do a Lego project with Ryan...Tyler observed the whole thing.
Daddy telling the boys a story before bedtime. Mommy is not so creative and usually just reads books, but Daddy creates his own stories and the boys are in heaven as you can see.
I am especially grateful for Doug and the wonderful father that he is. I knew he would be good when I married him, but I didn't know he would be this good. :) We love you, Daddy!

Cousins and Showers
This last weekend the boys and I headed up to Fresno for Kelly's baby shower. Ryan has been looking forward to seeing his cousins for weeks now. The shower turned out really nice and Kelly and baby made out with quite the loot.
Kelly and her pregnant belly.
My sisters... Kari and Kelly.
Ryan had a sleep over at Grandma Karen's house with Lizzie and Ammon (actually Ammon didn't quite make it through the night.)
Maddie, Ryan, Lizzie, and Ammon. Ryan really loves his cousins!
Tyler with Uncle Robb Bob. This pretty much sums him up this weekend...ornery. I am talking about Tyler, not Uncle Robb. :)
