Ryan's Christmas Program

Ryan had his preschool Christmas program last night. He did a really good job, but this was the first time they had them hold candles. Needless to say, Ryan lost focus on singing really loudly. It was cute just the same.

Christmas Fun

We went to the see the giant Christmas tree at Fashion Island with a few families from our ward for Family Home Evening. The boys had a great time running around and climbing the giant presents located at the bottom of the tree. I still can't believe that the Christmas season has kicked into gear. Where has this year gone?

Amanda gets married...

Doug's littlest sister, Amanda, got married this last weekend in the San Diego temple. It was a very nice wedding and we had a lot of fun seeing family we have not seen in quite a long time.

Matt and Amanda Lewis. They really are a sweet couple, who perfectly compliment one another. We are excited to have Matt join the family.

While we were waiting for the bride to get dressed we kept ourselves entertained. They happened to put one of the nativity sets conveniently right next to where we were waiting. My boys loved walking around and touching everything....so did many of the adults (note the example above).

One of my favorite parts about Amanda's reception was catching my two boys dancing. It really was sweet.

Ryan's favorite part of the night was the chocolate fountain. I have had to bleach his white shirt twice just to get all the chocolate spots out.

You wonder how he got the garter? Well, he was up on Uncle Mike's shoulders and Uncle Mike wanted nothing to do with it. Ryan kept waving it around proudly, if only he knew what was attached to that little piece of fabric.Tyler, cousin Lauren, and Ryan. They were pretty much the only children at the whole reception so you could find them running up and down the hallways together.

The chocolate fountain...I guess I was a little partial to this part of the reception because it was my responsibility, but I thought it turned out really well. It was a long, yet wonderful day. Congratulations to Amanda and Matt!!!
