Tyler did finally stick his hands into the tank. He thought it was a lot of fun until a String Rey came really close to his fingers and then he was done.

Aquarium of the Pacific
My parents were in town this last weekend at a conference and decided to come see us before heading home. I had this great coupon for the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, so we decided to take the kids up there. Doug was at an all day scout training meeting, so he missed all the fun. Doug and I took Ryan once when he was little, however, he was not very interested in the fish. He loved it this go around, it was Tyler that didn't seemed to be very impressed.
Ryan loved petting the Sting Rey's and sharks. He sat and touched them for 30 minutes. Tyler was more interested in eating snacks in the stroller.
Both boys taking it all in.
Ryan watching the diver feed the fish and sharks...pretty cool. He had a microphone and could actually talk to us from inside the tank.
Grandma and Grandpa with the giant Humpback whale.
Ryan was so excited to find "Nemo" and "Dory" fish.
The boys in front of a beautiful coral tank.
It was a very fun day with Grandma and Grandpa. We were glad they were able to come and see us. We wish they lived closer. :(
Tyler did finally stick his hands into the tank. He thought it was a lot of fun until a String Rey came really close to his fingers and then he was done.

Yay! The Aquarium of the Pacific is so fun -- I'm sure the boys had a blast. I can't wait until we have some little ankle-biters to take there.
That does look like a good time. Next time we come down, we'll have the take the kids! We'll have to keep Jackson away from the petting area though, around our house he is known as the fish killer as he has sent many fish down the cold water flush with his antics.
Thats so much fun!! I can't wait till Maddie is interested in those things. We are taking her to Disney on Saturday, but she won't appreciate this experience as much as we will!
Hey Kristen, found you thru my Kristin's blog, how fun to see your family and your mom and dad. Your little boys are such cutties. Say hello to your family. I love these blogs....
