Night at the Drive-In
Memorial Day we decided to hit the drive-in. I haven't been to the drive-in in years, Doug's only memory of the drive-in was seeing Chariots of Fire( Dang, that's a long time ago)and I knew the boys would enjoy it as well. They were playing Shrek 3 and it was lovely to not have to worry about whether or not the boys were being quiet or running up and down the aisles. Doug put our middle seats down and we just let the boys have free reign of the the car. We will definitely do it again.

Ryan figured out that he could stick his head through the sun roof. He thought that was about the coolest thing ever to watch the movie from the top of the car.
Tyler's face is adorable in this picture!
All cozy in their seats driving home. It was a fun night!

How fun! Where are drive-ins around here anyway?
They have it now at the Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa. Not as cheap as they were when we were kids, but still really fun.
It kills me they took them all out around here! I have a lot of fun memories of going (sneaking) into the drive through in high school. To bad the kids won't have those same criminal experiences.
